COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Revenue at Ohio's four casinos dropped by about a million dollars from August to September, according to number released Monday by the Ohio Casino Control Commission. The casinos generated $70.8 million in revenue in August, but only $68.9 million last month.
Hollywood Casino's two Ohio locations lost money while the two Horseshoe Casinos saw revenues increase slightly.
Hollywood Columbus dipped nearly a million dollars from $16.8 million in August of $15.7 million in September. Hollywood Toledo dropped nearly $2 million from $15.8 million to $14 million over the same period.
Horseshoe Cincinnati increased revenue from $19.1 million to $19.7 million and Horseshoe Cleveland saw a similar increase from $18.9 million to $19.3 million.
As for the state's two racinos, Scioto Downs in Columbus saw profits decline from $11.1 million to $10.5 million in September. Thistledown in Cleveland was flat at $11.8 million both months.
