COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --Columbus police have identified the two people involved in a high-speed chase along I-70 early Thursday morning.
Police say when an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper attempted to stop Jack A. Morris II for a traffic violation, he sped off instead.
Speeds along I-70 reached 110 miles an hour at times.
Just after 2 a.m., Morris, 25, lost control of his vehicle and crashed on the Hamilton Road exit ramp.
A passenger, Grover Solomon, 31, was ejected from the SUV. He was taken to Grant Medical Center for treatment of injuries and is expected to recover.
Morris was also taken to Grant for treatment of injuries.
Charges in the case are pending.
