Basketball Buckeyes Hope To Build Off Upset

We had a shortened version, with half of our usual crew for Basketball Bucksline Monday night on our all sports station, 105.7, the Zone. Because of the Cavs game with Washington, which turned out to be a regular season classic, the show was limited to a  half-hour....and because of  Scoonie Penn's commitment to a charity bowling event, it was just former Buckeye captain and longtime Bucksline analyst Tony White with me to discuss mostly, Ohio State's upset win over Michigan.

Despite our shortened time frame, we took several social media questions and e-mails about the Buckeyes, who are back in action Wednesday night against Rutgers. Among the highlights---Tony White is of the belief that Thad Matta should stick with the starting line-up change we  saw at Michigan Saturday, with C.J. Jackson at point guard instead of JaQuan Lyle. Lyle was nursing a sprained ankle but after the victory, an admittedly superstitious Tony says he wouldn't mess with a good thing. Other topics included the toughness shown by Ohio State Saturday, the play of Trevor Thompson and the on-going development of freshman Andre Wesson.
