It finally happened. Northwestern, a Big Ten bottom feeder for most of its existence, is a joke no more. For the first time in school history the Wildcats are headed to the NCAA tournament.
They are one of the big stories this March Madness and will play Thursday afternoon against Vanderbilt. To celebrate the occasion, Northwestern had a "watch party" on selection Sunday.
