Watch: Kentucky Fans Experience Swing Of Emotions

The old ABC Wide World of Sports introduction coined the phrase "the thrill of victory--and the agony of defeat." We saw emotions similar to that on display Sunday, when North Carolina beat Kentucky 75-73 in the NCAA tournament South Regional final.

Down by three, Kentucky's Malik Monk made an off-balance 3-pointer with just over seven seconds left to pull the Wildcats even at 73 a piece...but just 6 seconds later, Luke Maye of North Carolina nailed a jumper with .3 left, to win it for the Tar Heels.

Sports anchor Lee Howard of WKYT in Lexington, KY tweeted out video of Kentucky fans reacting to those final seconds. It pretty much sums up---in a matter of seconds--what life as a sports fan is like. Tremendous highs and devastating lows sometimes happen in a blink of an eye. Check out Howard's video here.
