ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Florida (WTVN) -- Three Columbus residents are behind bars in Florida, accused of leaving a child at a rest stop.
St. Johns County sheriff's deputies say the six-year-old boy was left without shoes this past weekend at the rest area along I-95 near St. Augustine.
Authorities say James Morey, Charlene Pitts and Andrea Yantone eventually returned to get the child, but deputies noticed they were high on drugs.
The three were arrested on drug possession and other charges.
