Authorities turn to public for tips in Licking County fire

BUCKEYE LAKE, Ohio (WTVN) -- The State Fire Marshal's Office is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a Licking County house fire last month.

Crews responded to the home at 38 Elmhurst Lane in Buckeye Lake the morning of September 28th.

The home, which had recently been purchased, was in the process of being renovated and was vacant.

The investigation is being conducted jointly with the Marshal’s office, Buckeye Lake Police Department, Buckeye Lake Fire Department and Licking County Prosecutor’s office.
