WASHINGTON, DC (WTVN) -- Central Ohio Congressman Pat Tiberi said Thursday he's leaving Congress for a job with the Ohio Business Roundtable.
In a statement on his website, Tiberi called it "the most remarkable honor of my life to serve the people of the 12th District."
Tiberi says no final resignation date has been determined, but says he doesn't plan to serve beyond January 31, 2018.
A story in the New York Times suggests Tiberi's resignation may have been part of the growing frustration with Washington among mainstream Republicans.
