COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Charges are pending against two juveniles involved in a shooting near a school in East Columbus.
Officers went to Shady Lane Road Thursday and discovered a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The teen was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but later upgraded to stable.
Shady Lane Elementary School was placed on lockdown immediately after the shooting, but students were dismissed on time.
