Buckeye Senior C.J. Jackson Hoping For Big Finish

The 2018-19 Basketball Buckeyes will look a lot different than the team that won 25 games this past season. Gone are Big Ten Player Of The Year Keita Bates-Diop, four-year starter Jae'Sean Tate, veteran scorer Kam Williams, and fan favorite Andrew Dakich.

The top returner for Chris Holtmann's team is point guard C.J. Jackson, who led the team in assists and at 12.6 points per game, was second on the Buckeyes in scoring. Jackson will be relied upon off the court as well, taking on a leadership role this season with a team that has four freshman (Luther Muhammad, Duane Washington, Justin Ahrens and Jaedon LeDee) and a graduate transfer (Keyshawn Woods).

Jackson joined Stan Jackson and me on "The Drive" on 105.7, The Zone Wednesday afternoon. We discussed his upcoming season, next year's team, the Basketball Buckeyes summertime trip to Spain, and even had some fun with him regarding C.J.'s love of the NBA Champion Golden State Warriors (we'll just have to forgive him for that).

Thanks a bunch to C.J. for joining us. It was a fun conversation. You can check it out here.
