Noe to get another clemency hearing

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVN) -- Former coin dealer Tom Noe will make another bid for clemency this year.

The Toledo Blade reports Noe will get a hearing before the Ohio Parole Board in October after Governor John Kasich urged the panel to reconsider the case.

The parole board recommended against clemency last month, three years after denying Noe's first request.

Noe is serving an 18-year sentence for stealing from a rare coin fund used by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.
