O'Connor Turns Deep Red District Purple, PAC claims

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- A liberal political action committee is giving Congressional candidate Danny O'Connor an attaboy after putting the Ohio 12th House District into contention during Tuesday evening's special election.

House Majority PAC, which refers to themselves as being "focused on holding Republicans accountable and helping Democrats win seats in the House", says Republicans have held the 12th for 30 years. "It shouldn't even be close", they say, in a written statement.

"After spending millions struggling just to hang on in OH-12, Republicans should be terrified," the statement by their executive director, Charlie Kelly, continues. "The fact that Republicans have near abandoned talking about what they once touted as signature policy proposals that would save them -- health care and taxes -- even in what should be an easy to win district for their party -- has only exposed their economic agenda as a total disaster."
