COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The Ohio State University says the investigation into Head Football Coach Urban Meyer will be completed by Sunday, as planned.
The university releasing a statement late Friday, saying the group conducting the probe will then forward their information to the University's Board of Trustees, who will then meet in executive session.
OSU says there will be a required 24-hours notice before that meeting takes place.
On August 5th, Ohio State said the investigation into Meyer would take 14 days, and this Sunday meets that threshold.
Meyer has been on paid administrative leave since August 1st, when a report surfaced alleging he had prior knowledge of an alleged domestic violence incident involving former Wide receivers Coach Zach Smith, and his ex-wife Courtney, from 2015.
At Big ten Media Days in July, Meyer said that particular incident was "nothing."
The report from Brett McMurphy cited text messages exchanged between Courtney and Meyer's wife, Shelley.
This week, lawyers for Zach and Courtney Smith both indicated they had conducted interviews with that investigative team.
