Girl, 15, shot dead in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Counselors are on hand at Columbus's Champion Middle School, helping students cope with the death of a fellow student.

Tamara Lynette Dodson, 15, was found shot in the 1700 block of East Rich Street on Saturday night.

She was rushed to Grant Medical Center, where she died.

Authorities have charged a 16-year old boy with Dodson's murder but have not released his name.
