COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The Ohio Supreme Court has ordered that the autopsies from the eight murders in Pike County, from April of 2016, be made public.
Shortly after the murders, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine ordered the reports to be sealed, claiming they were an important part of the investigation. Two Ohio newspapers sued to make the reports public, and the court's ruling Wednesday complied with their request.
They show that only one member of the Rhoden family was shot just once, with many victims shot multiple times in the head. Their bodies were found at four different homes on the same morning.
The youngest victim was 16 years old.
Despite the exhaustive investigation up to this point, there still have been no arrests in the case.
