COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--A man is facing murder charges for allegedly killing his father and then staging a home invasion to cover up the crime.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien secured a four-count indictment Wednesday against 20-year-old Jonah Bryce Lake in the shooting death of his father, Dr. Kevin Lake.
Before he was killed, Dr. Lake had plead guilty in Federal Court to fraud, tax evasion, and drug charges.
There's no word yet on whether the murder is in relation to the charges against Dr. Lake.
Dr. Lake was found dead in his New Albany home back in June from what looked like a home invasion that detectives later said had been staged.
Jonah's arraignment is set for sometime this week.
