Ohio State #6 in AP Poll After win over Michigan

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The Ohio State Buckeyes football team moved up to number-6 in the latest Associated Press Poll, following their 62-39 beating of Michigan in Ohio Stadium on Saturday.

The win moves the Buckeyes to 11-1 on the season, and brings them firmly back into the conversation to make the 4-team College Football Playoff at season's end.

The latest CFP rankings will be released on Tuesday, and the final rankings will be released this Sunday, once the conference championship games are played this Friday and Saturday.

Ohio State plays Northwestern in Indianapolis in the Big Ten Title game this Saturday.

The top three in the AP poll are the same, with Alabama, Clemson, and Notre Dame. Georgia moved up to number-4 and Oklahoma is 5th.

Alabama and Georgia play each other in the SEC Championship Game Saturday. Oklahoma plays Texas in the Big XII Title Game, with Texas beating Oklahoma earlier this season.
