Court Date Set for Franklin County Judge, Charged with OVI

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--A Franklin County Juvenile Court Judge is scheduled to appear in court on February 14th.

Police say they pulled over 54-year old Judge Monica Hawkins after receiving a call on January 31st of a driver swerving all over the road on State Route 256.

The arrest report says Hawkins failed a field sobriety test and was unable to correctly identify the date, day of the week, or recite the alphabet.

Hawkins was elected as a Domestic Relations Juvenile Court judge this past November defeating Amy Koorn by over 115-thousand votes.
