FRANKFORT, Kentucky (24-7 News)--Kentucky State Police are confirming the bullet that killed a student kidnapped from Ohio State's Mansfield campus came from her abductor.
Police Commissioner Richard Sanders said test results showed Skylar Williams was killed by a gun fired by Ty'rell Pounds after Troopers stopped them in Oldham County, Kentucky.
Williams was kidnapped by Pounds from the parking lot of OSU's satellite campus in Mansfield and then driven to Kentucky where police stopped them.
Sanders says Pounds killed Williams shortly after being pulled over and then was shot an killed by Trooper Joey Brown, who has been placed on leave while the investigation continues.
