Flags Ordered to Half-Staff for Fallen Central Ohio Soldier

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is ordering flags at the statehouse and all public buildings in Fairfield county be lowered to half-staff in honor of Specialist Joseph Collette of Lancaster.

Collette was killed last Friday in the Kunduz Province of Afghanistan during combat in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

According to DeWine's order, all flags are to remain lowered until after Specialist Collette's funeral.

Collette is the fourth U.S. soldier killed so far this year in Afghanistan.
