Wannabe Bank Robber Gets Impatient, Flees With No Cash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A man who attempted to rob a bank in the Short North Saturday morning grew impatient, and fled without any cash.

Columbus Police say the incident happened at the Huntington Bank on North High Street just before Noon, and initially made an exchange of rolled coins for currency.

The suspect then gave the teller a note demanding money. As the teller was processing the demands, the suspect grew impatient, and fled out the front door, before he could get any more money.

The suspect fled from the scene on a lime-green mountain bike, heading South on High Street, towards downtown.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20's or 30's, 5'-8" to 5'-10", 150-170 pounds, bald with a scruffy beard, and tattoos on his face, neck, and knuckles. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
