COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed the extension of Ohio's stay-at-home order last week, in connection to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but the extension also addresses any other aspects of Ohio businesses and other events.
The extension takes effect Monday night, and lasts through May 1st. It includes regulations on businesses deemed essential, saying those businesses have to determine and enforce a maximum number of people allowed in a store, which complies with recommendations on social distancing.
Travelers coming to Ohio also must self-quarantine for 14 days upon their arrival. The lone exception is for residents who work in bordering states.
Wedding receptions held during the order must also not have more than 10 people in attendance.
Many of Ohio's campgrounds also close as a result of the order, with the exception being if a camper or RV is considered a citizen's permanent residence.
