Cedar Point, Kings Island 2020 Season Passes Also Good for 2021

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WTVN)--Roller coaster fans who have season passes for Cedar Point or Kings Island for 2020 will be able to use those same passes for 2021.

Cedar Fair, the parent company that owns both the parks, released a statement Monday, saying those passes are being extended to 2021, due to the uncertainty over the coronavirus pandemic.

Kings Island, near Cincinnati, has postponed the opening of the park for this season, which was also supposed to be the debut of their new record-breaking thrill ride, Orion.

Cedar Point, in Sandusky, has delayed the opening of their 150th season, which was supposed to begin in early-May.
