More Ohio Businesses Given Reopening Dates

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Ohio Lieutenant-Governor Jon Husted announced more reopening dates for recreational businesses across the state on Thursday.

Husted says bowling alleys, batting cages, and miniature golf courses can resume operations on Tuesday, May 26th. The businesses will have to adhere to social distancing and cleaning standards.

Banquet facilities and event venues can resume business on June 1st, as long as their capacity is less than 300 people.

With regard to organized sports, Husted says skills training for contact sports can resume on May 26th for contact sports, like football, basketball, and lacrosse.

That order does not include tournaments or scrimmages for those contact sports.
