VIDEO: CPD Looking for Attackers of Driver With Cerebral Palsy

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police are asking for the public's help in identifying those involved in an attack on a person with cerebral palsy during the protests that happened downtown in late-May.

Officers compiled video posted to social media as part of the evidence from the incident near the intersection of broad and High Streets on May 31st.

The crowd became violent after the vehicle backed up, while in the midst of a crowd, and hit a person on a bicycle.

The crowd attacked the person's car and the driver, who has cerebral palsy. The suspects also attacked those who actively came to the rescue of the victim.

Officers are asking anyone with additional info to come forward.
