Four Shot, Three Dead in Two Weekend Shootings

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police and the Franklin County Sheriff's Office are busy investigating shootings on Columbus's west side over the weekend that left three people dead, and another victim injured.

It started Saturday afternoon at a home along South Wheatland Avenue, near Sullivant, where three people were shot. One of the victims, 34-year-old Rianne Dotson, was outside of the home and flagged down police about the incident, with two other victims inside the building.

41-year-old Candace Carr and 60-year-old Lionel Adams were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Then on Sunday, Franklin County Sheriffs Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at the former Westland Mall. One person was confirmed dead from that incident.

That incident occurred while a gun show was happening at the building, but investigators have not made a connection between the shooting and the gun show.

There are no suspects named nor are in custody for either incident.
