JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WTVN)--The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says a Circleville woman died in a head-on crash early Tuesday morning in Jackson Township.
Deputies responded to the call of a crash involving two vehicles along State Route 104, near Hiner Road, just after 1AM. Investigators say a truck heading northbound on 104 drifted left of center, and struck a southbound vehicle head-on.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, 22-year-old Olivia Wright of Circleville, was pronounced dead at the scene by Jackson Township Fire medics. The driver of the truck, 25-year-old Benjamin Shuler of Grove City, was taken to Mt. Carmel east Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators are still working to whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
