Man Indicted on 60 Charges Connected to Three-Week Robbery Spree

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A Franklin County grand jury has returned a 60-count indictment against a man accused of carrying out 15 robberies, spanning a three-week period across central Ohio.

County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien says 51-year-old Field Nicole Harris used a handgun to carry out a majority of the robberies, which began on August 16th, and ended on September 10th. The holdups occurred across Franklin, Fairfield, and Delaware Counties.

The counts include aggravated robbery, with most of them having firearm specifications, receiving stolen property, and having weapons while under disability.

The targets included convenience stores, pharmacies, a cell phone store, and even a flower shop and an auto parts store.

O'Brien says the counts against Harris for having a weapon while under disability are based on his previous convictions, in Richland County in 1998, and in Cuyahoga County in 2012.
