Ohio Discontinuing Coronavirus Advisory Map

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Another sign of an improving coronavirus situation in the US--The Ohio Department of Health will no longer utilize a COVID-19 advisory map, indicating which states have a positivity rate of over 15%.

Health officials Wednesday said Ohioans should still adhere to CDC guidelines when it comes to travel.

The state had previously advised Ohioans to quarantine after visiting a state with a positivity rate of 15% or higher.

CDC guidelines include postponing travel and staying home as the best way of protecting yourself and other from COVID-19.

It adds you should not travel if you become sick, and should not travel with anyone who is sick.
