INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (WTVN)--It was a thrilling weekend of basketball for the Ohio State Men's Basketball team, but they came up just short of winning the Big-10 Tournament Championship.

The Buckeyes overcame a double-digit deficit against Illinois in the 2nd half of their game on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, but lost in overtime 91-88.

The game followed three games in three days, with each game coming down to the wire. The Buckeyes held on to beat Minnesota on Thursday, then let a double-digit lead slip away against Purdue on Friday, before eventually winning in overtime.

On Saturday, Ohio State had a double-digit lead on top-seeded Michigan, and nearly let that slip away, as the Wolverines couldn't get a last-second game winner to fall.

With the conference tournament now in the rear-view mirror, Ohio State was announced as the #2 seed in the South region of the NCAA tournament. They'll take on 15th-seeded Oral Roberts on Friday, at Purdue's Mackey Arena.
