Another Shooting at Polaris Fashion Place, the 2nd in Less Than 2 Weeks

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--For the 2nd time in less than 2 weeks, Columbus Police responded to a shooting at Polaris Fashion Place.

On Monday, officers responded to the reports of gunfire, after three people among two groups of teens got into an altercation, in one of the mall's open areas. The shots prompted police to search and clear the area, and for workers and shoppers to evacuate.

The scene was cleared just after 6PM.

Police Sgt. James Fuqua says investigators will use surveillance photos and video to identify the suspects. There were no injuries reported.

Back on March 3rd, two men fired shots at each other outside the Carter's clothing store. Those two men have recently been identified as 25-year-old Levon Sommerville and 21-year-old Anthony Truss Jr.
