MAUI, Hawaii (WTVN)--Ohio State basketball fans will have the opportunity to say "aloha" in 2022.
The group that organizes the Maui Invitational has revealed the eight teams invited to the tournament for 2022, and Ohio State is on the list.
The tournament is set for November 21-23, 2022 on the Hawaiian island. It's considered one of the most prestigious basketball tournaments in the country.
For the Buckeyes, it will be their 4th appearance in the tournament, and 1st since 2003.
The other teams invited to the tournament include:
- Arkansas
- Arizona
- Cincinnati
- Creighton
- Louisville
- San Diego State
- Texas Tech
Seven teams that have won the Maui Invitational have gone on to win the NCAA Championship in that same season.
