COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A shooting at a car in the Franklinton area early Thursday morning resulted in Columbus's 100th homicide of 2021.
Officers were called out to the Patio Bar on Sullivant Avenue around 2am, where a man was shot during an argument.
The victim died at the scene. Officers are interviewing witnesses to get a description of the suspect.
The city of Columbus had a record 176 homicides in 2020, and the city's 100th homicide that year occurred on September 7th.
At this time last year, Columbus had 58 homicides.
