COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--One of central Ohio's largest concert promoters is now requiring proof of a coronavirus vaccination for attendance at its venues.
PromoWest Productions announced the policy on Thursday for it's local venues, including Express Live!, Newport Music Hall, A&R Music Bar, and The Basement.
The policy takes effect August 18th.
PromoWest's parent company, AEG Presents, also applied the policy to its venues nationwide, which takes effect October 10th.
The company acknowledges that the policy will be void in areas where it's restricted by law.
Other local music venues have also asked for proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry, like Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza, and Ace of Cups.
