Forensic Audit Reveals Extent of Misuse of Resources at Columbus Zoo

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Officials at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium have released the results of a forensic audit regarding the misuse of resources by former zoo executives.

Zoo CEO Tom Stalf and CFO Greg Bell resigned earlier this year, after the Board of Directors discovered they misused zoo property, including homes owned by the zoo.

Stalf was found to be responsible for over $423,000 in company resources, with Bell liable for nearly $139,000 in losses.

Two other former executives were also found to be responsible for nearly $70,000 in lost resources.

The Board of Directors confirmed the losses did not involve public funds. The report will be made public on Friday.
