A few relatively odd developments in the George Zimmerman / Trayvon Martin case.  First off, Zimmermans' legal team has decided to quit because they can't get in contact with him... he's dropped off the face of Florida.  A Michigan teacher has lost her job, she says because she held a fundraiser for Martin involving her students wearing hoodies.  And a police car in Sanford, Florida was shot six times as tensions continue to mount there... so much so that three area counties are on Level II emergency which is the same level as when a hurricane is coming in.

 

 

Rick Santorum has quit his bid for the GOP nomination for president and conceded in a phone call to Mitt Romney.  Looks like that solidifies Romney's position, but the president has gotten some love from women voters...

 

 

10 felonies in 9 hours... or maybe 11.  I guess that's one way to get attention... like $180K bail attention.

 

 

How about some news for the great American taxpayer?  Did you know we get to pay millions to mow the lawns of homes foreclosed on?  It's true.  It's also true that Obamacare will raise the federal deficit, not lower it, by some $340B.  And former president G W Bush wishes the tax cuts didn't bear his name because he says they'd have a better chance of they didn't...
