Lots of people are dreaming about winning the $500M Powerball jackpot.  If I were to be lucky enough to score, you'd not evr hear me on the radio again.  I mean, if you just socked it away in an interest bearing checking account at .25%, you're looking at a pretty easy life... and if you actually were smart and invested to a paltry 4% return, the money is overwhelming.  Well, here's what CBS Moneywatch says you should do, and yes, they say blowing a bit of it right up front is a perfectly healthy thing to do.  I can honestly say that I really don't want that much money.  Big cash is a huge responsibility... I mean look at all the pro athletes and child actors who have crashed and burned because they just didn't manage the vast sums of money they earned.  It'as an old adage, but I think it's uber true... idle hands are the devils workshop.  When you don't have stuff planned for your day each day, you get lazy and loose focus and that's when bad stuff starts to happen.  For me, if I allow myself to dream, I'd like a windfall in the area of a mil or two.  You know, pay down the debt, have some bank for junior so he can get through college or pick a trade that makes him happy, maybe have a camper so I don't have to tent camp anymore, and then see all the great things in this country that I haven't seen yet.  That probably means I couldn't retire, but it's cool.  I have the best job on the planet.
