Urban Meyer made the 2012 "Earle Bruce Beat Michigan Tailgate" memorable. Meyer stopped by to address the fans on hand at French Field House and got emotional when talking about his 21 seniors.
"I'm proud to say that those kids, by a leap of blind faith, stuck it out and gave it to our coaches. As a result of that blind faith and giving us their hearts, they're about to embark on...if they find a way to get this done...one of the most memorable seasons in Ohio State University Football history, so with that said, I'd like to make sure we all give credit to where credit is due," Meyer said as he choked back tears.
After a pause of about 30 seconds, with Earle Bruce coming on stage for support, Meyer finished, "I just want to make sure that we always remember this senior class. There's reasons why you do what you do. These kids love this school. They love each other and we can't forget that. Let's beat the (crap) out of Michigan. Have a good night."
