Ohio State started the season ranked number two in the polls but has dropped two spots despite winning all their games. Critics say the victories have lacked 'style points'...that is until Saturday night.
Ohio State scored early and often and pummelled Penn State 63-14. The Buckeyes piled up 686 total yards, the most ever allowed by the Nittany Lions and rushed for 408.
Quarterback Braxton Miller had 320 total yards (252 pass, 68 run) with three touchdown passes and two touchdown runs and running back Carlos Hyde rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns and neither player saw action in the fourth quarter of the blowout.
The Buckeyes, now 8-0, are No. 4 in all of the polls, including the BCS standings. It remains to be seen if the demolition of Penn State impacts the rankings but it was clearly Ohio State's most dominant performance of the season.
