Speed limit likely to fall on some Ohio interstates

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --Ohio maybe soon see the end of the 70 mile-an-hour speed limit on some interstates, but it's likely to be temporary.

A recent report indicated a 22 percent uptick in crashes at the higher speed limit.

Troopers, meantime, will be out, looking for speeding and other aggressive driving techniques.

The state plans to use overtime to increase the number of troopers working in three high-crash areas and will launch a $100,000 ad campaign urging drivers to slow down.
