Elections board wants you to weigh-in on voting machines

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Franklin County residents will help decide the next generation of voting machine they'll be using.

It's another phase of a project that began last May.

The Franklin County Board of Elections started by examining machines from five voting equipment vendors, then decided on two finalists.

One is Electronic Systems & Software (ES&S) based in Omaha, Nebraska.

The other is Hart InterCivic based in Austin, Texas.

Now, the board is asking for public feedback before a final decision is made.
