Settlement Reached With Women Arrested With Stormy Daniels

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--Columbus City Council has approved a six-figure settlement with two exotic dancers arrested last year with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

A 150-thousand dollar payout will be divided between Miranda Panda and Brittany Walters to settle a lawsuit filed against the city for emotional distress caused by the arrest.

Walters, Panda, and Daniels were taken into custody last summer after violating the Community Defense Act by touching a patron at a sexually oriented business, but those charges were later dropped by city attorney Zach Klein.

Daniels was also arrested that same night, but her charges were also later dropped. City officials say her arrest was politically motivated.
