ORIENT, Ohio (WTVN)--The Pickaway County Sheriff's Office has identified the elderly woman, found dead in her home near Orient over the weekend.
The body of 82-year-old Joyce Kaelbli was discovered by a family member inside the home along Ballah Road on Sunday.
Investigators say she suffered blunt force trauma to the head, and her death is considered a homicide. She could have been killed sometime Saturday, according to investigators.
The Montgomery County Coroner is conducting the autopsy.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office in the probe. So far, there are no suspects in custody.
