Dogs, Pot-Bellied Pigs Found Abandoned at State Park

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (WTVN)--A half-dozen animals were found abandoned at a park in Pickaway County over the weekend, and a local animal shelter is busy not only caring for the animals, but looking for those responsible.

Four dogs and two pot-bellied pigs were rescued from Deer Creek State Park on Sunday. One of the dogs was found locked in a port-a-potty, and another was found emaciated. Yet another dog is set to give birth to puppies.

The Circle Area Humane Society took in the animals, and are now receiving proper care.They are also taking donations to help with the care of the animals.
