COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police say a fight involving 6 to 8 people Monday afternoon ended in gunfire, and a victim dead.
Officers received the call to the area of Smith Road, on the southeast side, early Monday afternoon, where there were reports of gunshots after the fight occurred in the street.
The victim was found with at least one gunshot wound.
Medics took 22-year-old John Arthur Wilson III to Grant Hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead. It is Columbus's 40th homicide of 2020.
Detectives filed a warrant for murder against 17-year-old Frank Demontae Turner.
The COD Homicide Unit is asking for more information on the incident, and for info on the whereabouts of Mr. Turner.
