JACKSONVILLE, Florida (WTVN)--The Jacksonville Jaguars are now facing a lawsuit from a former player, who claims former Head Coach Urban Meyer created a hostile work environment.

The lawsuit from Kicker Josh Lambo claims he was subjected to verbal and physical abuse from Meyer, leading to his poor performance on the field, and eventually his release from the team on October 19th.

Meyer was hired by the Jaguars as Head Coach in 2021, but started the season 2-11, and was fired before the 2021 season was over.

Lambo is seeking payment of his salary and damages for emotional distress in his legal action.

Meyer's hiring in Jacksonville came two years after he left Ohio State, where he won a national Championship in 2014.
